We are doing a support group in Inland Empire, Orange County and Los Angeles County for parents who have lost thier child to cancer. I know that losing a child is the most horrifying feeling ever. It leaves you questioning the things you did or should have done. Did you make the right choice? Did you try everything? How could someone so sweet and perfect be taken? What did they do or what did I do? All the questions I have asked myself since my daughter died....I went to a couple of groups for parents who lost a child..I really believe that having lost a child to cancer is a different thing then say losing to an accident....We fought a long hard battle and had the hope that maybe just maybe there was a chance that our children could survive and then they dont. The parents need to be together and support each other through this time in our live. Be there for each other until they can get thru the days without crying all the time.
